Sienna Miller recently complained that she attracted more attention for her clothes than her acting.

Her latest outfit certainly won't help matters. stepping out in New York, the 25 year old actress wore what can only be described as giant black Knickers over black tights. No skirt, no dress, no trousers just Bridget Jones Knickers.

Her Bizarre choice of underwear as outerwear was set off with ankle boots and a mirrored bag as she arrived at the Chelsea Hotel in Manhattan. Miller was guest of honour at a party after the premiere of her film Factory Girl.

For the premiere itself, she wore a tasselled mini dress that looked positively conservative in comparison.

It all seemed rather out of killer with her declaration to a magazine interviewer last week: "Hopefully with all the films I've made this year, It'll take the focus off what I'm wearing or my relationship,"

However fashion could be on her side. those in the know said Miller was wearing micro shorts, expected to be a big trend this summer, Prada have a pair very much like those Miller was sporting.

She plays Andy Warhol's tragic muse Edie Sedgwick in the movie. With her on-off relationship with Jude Law said to be off for good, she is hoping the role will establish her as a serious player in Hollywood.
