An explicit photo of Vanessa Hudgens from the hugely successful High School Musical has been posted on the internet.

The 19-year-old “squeaky-clean” star has been forced to admit she posed for the candid snap.
The admission will come as a major embarassment to Disney chiefs who had hoped to build on the wholesome image of the young star.
Hudgens admitted that the colour photograph had been taken privately.

She did not reveal when the shot was taken or where, but there are rumours it was for her boyfriend and co-star Zac Efron.
The picture appears to have been taken in a bedroom. Standing and pulling her hair back with one hand, a smiling Hudgens shares the frame with a bed, wooden dresser — and nothing else.
She and Efron are the stars of High School Musical and its sequel which, when shown in the US last month, attracted a record audience.

The original film was also a huge hit in Britain when it was screened here last year.
High School Musical 2 is due to be screened in the UK on 21 September.
Rumours about the photograph surfaced in a US celebrity magazine last week but were dismissed by Hudgens' reps as being false.

But earlier this week the photograph appeared on several Hollywood websites, including the Perezhilton.com site.
Hudgens was forced to put out a statement acknowledging it was her in the photograph.
Her statement said: “This photo was taken privately. It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate this has become public.”
Some cynics have suggested the scandal was engineered to widen the teen's appeal from her young fanbase. If that proves true, it may backfire, with Disney executives reportedly considering axing her from the planned third 'High School Musical' film.
Hudgens portrayed sweet-voiced Gabriella, the brainy love interest of Efron's basketball star, in the first two Disney Channel movies.
'High School Musical 2' attracted more than 17 million viewers for its US TV premiere in August, the most watched show of the summer. It is scheduled for a September 21 showing in the UK.
Disney hopes to launch the next film in the franchise on the big screen next year.
