Hollyoaks the latest scandal

Hollyoaks is set to heat up when a lesbian love affair become the latest scandal to hit Chester.

After a string of bad relationship with men, model Sarah Barnes ends up in a clinch with her dad Mike's girlfriend Zoe Carpenter after a drunken night out.

In January, actress Zoe Lister, who plays Zoe, announced she wanted soap bosses to create a lesbian plot and she would love to take part in it.

And it appears producers have listened to the actress, given her latest storyline.

Sarah, played by Loui Batley, has been struggling with her friendship with fellow student Zoe, since the latter first started dating Mike earlier this year.

Sarah has seen their friendship challenged as Zoe has come across quite motherly to her and her sister Amy - despite only being a year younger than the pretty blonde.

But the pair manage to bond again on a girlie trip away to Silverstone, where Sarah has a modelling job.

After a drunken night out at a few bars, the pair end up in bed together at their B&B.

As Zoe attempts to forget about the incident and keeps it a secret from her older boyfriend Mike, Sarah wrestles over her feelings for the film studies student.

The storyline will kick off on the special late night spin-off, entitled Hollyoaks Later, which runs on E4 next week.
