Stephanie cools off in a metallic bikini

After the charade of her fake wedding, it's not only the thought of eviction that has Stephanie hot under the collar.

The 19-year-old stripped down as the temperature in the Big Brother garden reached sweltering heights.

Wearing a tiny blue bikini, the glamorous Liverpudlian showed off her bikini body as she took a dip by the pool.

And after a tough time in the Big Brother house- with meeting a man, getting married and having it annulled within a space of a week- it looked as if the reality star wanted to let her hair down.

As some of the housemates complained about the air conditioning- which is apparently giving them a cold- a heated up Stephanie stripped into her small clothes to cool off.

Stephanie who is up for eviction along with Mario, Luke and Lisa after the four failed to convince housemates that she was getting married to Mario, had been admiring Dale as he exercised earlier on in the day.

But as she appeared in her meagre attire it was Dales turn to admire the blonde beauty.

He had his eyes firmly fixed on her behind as she pulled herself out of the pool and they followed her all around the garden.

Now that the cat is out of the bag about the fake marriage and all the housemates know that Stephanie is up for grabs, could there be some chemistry in the air between Stephanie and Dale?

Big Brother is known for its nude content, as housemates strip in the hope of staying in the house.

Stephanie is not the first to strip into her bikini and she certainly won't be the last.

Yesterday a drunken Bex was dared to show her birthday suit and the mouthy nursery school teacher obliged- which make you wonder if she go will go back to her day job.

Chanelle joins her celebrity idols with her own bikini-clad 2008 calendar

Big Brother pin-up Chanelle Hayes pulled on a pair of kinky boots and not much else for a sexy calendar photoshoot- and they are clearly not designed to do much walking.

The reality tv contestant has embraced the celebrity life after walking out of the Big Brother house, and now will have her own 2008 calendar, just like her celebrity idols.

Chanelle showed off her curves at the beachside shoot in Spain, clad in an animal print bikini and knee-high, Miss Whiplash style strap-up boots.

The 26-year-old, who is reported to be hoping TV bosses will welcome her back on Big Brother, showed plenty of skin for the sizzling modelling session.

But the Yorkshire girl modestly played down any ambitions for a career in modelling.

Rosy future: The Big Brother star seems to have a big future ahead of her with offers for more television shows

She told the Daily Star: "I'm loving doing all these shoots and stuff but I don't think I will ever be a real model.

"I just don't think I am pretty enough. Who's going to want to look at me?"

Judging from the photos, it's clear the Big Brother star doth protest too much.

Along with the calendar Chanelle seems to have a rosy celebrity future ahead of her, as Channel 4 bosses are said to have handpicked her for a new Big Brother-style show - only for beautiful people.

The 10-part reality show, Vanity Lair, hosted by Channel 4's Alexa Chung, 23, will see a group of 'beautiful people' living together in a London mansion and competing for a £10,000 prize.

Channel 4's Sangeeta Bhaskar said: "With Vanity Lair, we hope to challenge the viewers' notions of what constitutes being attractive, whether it be based on looks, humour or charm."

Chanelle quit the Big Brother house after an expletive-laden argument with housemate Ziggy Lichman.

But it seems the tempestuous relationship, which ultimately led to Chanelle's untimely exit, might not be completely over.

A hopeful source said: "When the show finishes she will sit down and have a heart-to-heart with Ziggy and sort out what is going on with them."

Big Brother Day 22: Bookies cough up £50k as Chanelle and Ziggy get jiggy

Bookies have paid out £50,000 after Ziggy Lichman and Chanelle Hayes became the first Big Brother housemates to have sex in the present series.

Ladbrokes had quoted 8/1 prior to the show's launch but were forced to revise their price - to 6/1, 5/1, 4/1 and 2/1 - after the male model joined the show and started a relationship with the Posh Spice fan.

Chanelle, 19, promised she would not have sex in the house - but by the time she lifted her ban last night, the odds were even money.

Big Brother
Ziggy and Chanelle are the first couple to have sex in the house this series

Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: "The BB bonk is always a popular bet but housemates' inhibitions usually mean we avoid a hefty pay out. We knew we were in trouble when the casanova entered the house. The only surprise is that it's taken so long for Ziggy to get jiggy."

A show spokeswoman denies the encounter: "It hasn't happened. We have looked at the footage in question and it certainly does not look like they were having sex."

The odds on the winner have shifted after tree surgeon Liam McGough won a £100,000 jackpot on last night's show.

He and the other housemates believe this is the grand prize for the entire show.

Liam broke down in tears after learning he would win £100,000

Host Davina McCall announced the prize at the beginning of last night's 8pm show, saying one of the housemates was set to become "rich beyond their wildest dreams".

Channel 4 went live to the house at the end of last night's first show as the housemates were shown the money, which was in a large box in the diary room.

In the second show, which was also broadcast live, Jonathan, Carole and Seany were summoned to the Diary Room and told they had been nominated by their fellow housemates to face the public eviction vote this week.

"Bad luck," said Big Brother before adding, "your luck is about to get even worse".

They were told that while they were not eligible to receive the grand prize, they would have one minute to choose one housemate to win the money.

Charley quizzed Liam about what he plans to do with his prize

The speech, in which Big Brother told them that they were deciding who would receive the prize fund for the entire show, was shown on a television to the rest of the housemates.

After briefly considering Ziggy for the prize, the three unanimously agreed on Liam as the winner before their time had elapsed.

Carole was asked to stand up and tell the group who would receive the money.

She told them: "We had one minute to decide who to give the £100,000 to and we chose Liam."
Big Brother
Shock: housemates, including Nicky, were surprised by the twist

A stunned-looking Liam was hugged by his fellow housemates before bursting into tears.

Charley told him: "You do what you want with that money."

Liam was later more preoccupied with crying on television. He said: "I didn't want to cry there. I said to my father there'll be none of that."

Brian replied: "Don't worry about crying ... your dad will be proud of you man."

Liam went to sit on his own to take in the news and when he was joined by Seany, he whispered: "Thank you so much."

Carole and Jonathan also joined them on the sofas and Jonathan explained to Liam why they chose him.

"You're the truest, strongest, best man we've got," he said. "You're a proper honest man. We all agreed in ten seconds."

Laura was not so sure, complaining that she should have got the money. "I haven't even got a washing machine in my house!" she protested.

Gerry was the first to question what the twist meant for the rest of the Big Brother experience, saying "what's happening now?"

McCall, who had earlier assured viewers the money is actually in addition to the show's final prize, wondered how the belief that the prize money had already been won would affect the other housemates.

"Will that affect their status in the house? Will that affect Liam's status in the house?" she pondered before adding that maybe some of the women would start to "fancy" him now that he had money.

The programme is in its fourth week and housemates expect to be in the Big Brother house for much of the rest of the summer.

Revealed: Shameful secrets of the Big Brother women

Big Brother's most talked about housemates have a rather sordid past, with new details of alleged drug use, lesbian romps and sex games a clear sign we'll be in store for a scandalous season.

Like the hen-party from hell, the Big Brother house is now packed to its day-glo rafters with eleven very different women and here, we reveal the secret pasts of the show's most outrageous contestants.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Aspiring fashion designer Emily Parr, 19, student from Bristol, single.

Housemate Emily has already been hit with allegations of drug use and lesbian romps.

According to The Sun, one source claimed that they saw the drama student take drugs while at a party.

The fellow partygoer told the paper: “We were at this girl’s house outside Bristol last April and I saw Emily sniffing coke in the kitchen.”

“Someone suggested Emily and another girl should get off together and she was well up for it.”

Emily is obviously a fan of good times – she posted a picture of her looking intoxicated on her website.

She also pursues more worldly interests; she is a drama student who plans to swap acting for fashion despite an impressive list of theatre credits.

She will be able to mimic all the housemates accents - her website claims she is adept at cockney, posh, Somerset, Scottish and Irish accents - and can also pass for French, Spanish or Russian.

She and her siblings are known as 'the Hilton sisters of Bristol'. Apparently the public will want to be her friend.

Emily is a Tory voter who gives herself 10 out of 10 for intelligence and says: "I don't do losing. I win. Team Emily."

The pretty blonde considers herself right-wing and lists benefit cheats among her pet hates.

She believes everyone has the right to make money and to keep it.

Emily is listed on a casting website which it claims that she is prepared to pose nude for professional purposes.

A former teacher of the blond wannabe actress described her as a "cunning, witty and adaptable" young woman.

She was reading from the age of two and has been involved in drama and the theatre since she was five.

Her dream job would be running a magazine or fashion label and she is applying to do a fashion course.

Her family lived in Puerto Rico for four years but are now back in the UK.

She lists Blondie, Lily Allen and the Klaxons among her musical likes, and her motto is: "Live life to the fullest, like it's your last. Enjoy what's around you and what's given to you."

College dropout Charley Uchea, 21, from South London is cousin of Manchester United footballer Kieran Richardson and a former lapdancer.

Charley, who quickly gained the undesirable title of the least popular housemate, has been open about her past, which included a stint as a lap dancer.

Revealing photographs of the housemate quickly emerged – one showed her frolicking in a pool at a private P-Diddy party.

Charley rates herself 10 out of 10 for attractiveness and ruthlessness.

Unemployed, she still lives at home with her mother, has dropped out of art college and has been sacked from numerous jobs.

Charley often goes bar-hopping with Kieran in Manchester, where he introduces her to "hot footballers".

She craves the limelight and has always wanted to be a singer.

Charley is not a morning person, saying: "I go to celeb hangouts and meet great people".

She loves watching The Jeremy Kyle Show and Little Britain.

She will amuse herself in the house by "dancing, singing and getting on people's nerves" but thinks her housemates will nominate her for being argumentative and unable to cook.

She says she is very competitive and has always has to win.

Charley says: "I'm trendy, I'm wild, argumentative - I speak so much. I'm flirtatious and I'm hot."

At their 18th party they dressed in cheeky PVC costumes.

Johnston added: “We wore Ann Summers outfits. It was Sam and Amanda’s idea, they love showing off as much flesh as possible.”

Victoria Beckham obsessive, Chanelle Hayes, 19, a single student from Wakefield.

Just days after entering the Big Brother house, Chanelle’s former flame has already spilled all the details on their saucy two year relationship.

In a recent conversation with her fellow contestants, Chanelle expressed concern about the kind of headlines she would be making outside of the house – and fears are clearly well placed.

Former boyfriend Nick Percival told the Daily Star she often instigated sex games; one involved rolling a dice to select a sexual position.

Percival, a lifeguard, told the paper: “Chantelle rolled and rolled until she’d thrown all six.”

He added: “She always looked a million dollars but in the bedroom she was just priceless. We’d be at it all night and let’s just say she really puts the spice into Spice Girl. She loved to be spanked andasked me to do it every time we had sex. She enjoyed that a lot.”

Chanelle recently announced her appearance on Big Brother on her MySpace page.

She says on her Victoria Beckham-themed page that her goal this year is "fame!" and her life ambition to be "famous or rich," adding: "Both would be good."

She added: “Hopefully I'm going to have one of the best summers ever."

Asked whether she has ever shoplifted, she writes "um...".

Chanelle admits to lacking common sense and wants to move to Madrid and LA to be just like her idol.

Hates Rebecca Loos with a passion and has a blonde 'pob' a la Posh.

Unlike the famous WAG this A level pupil plays violin to grade 7.

She described herself as 'bubbly, crazy, fun, dramatic, over-the-top'. Or in other words she's incredibly annoying.

The A-level student would love to be a professional Victoria Beckham look-a-like or a speech therapist.

She says: "I think my personality is fantastic, I wouldn't change it for anything, but I don't like my thighs".

Chanelle says she is intelligent but lacks common-sense and warns that she also holds a grudge.

She wants to appear in Big Brother for fame, saying: "I want people to like me, I want to meet new people, I want to be recognised in the streets".

Accounts executive, Nicky Maxwell, 27, single from Watford.

Originally from Mumbai and adopted from Mother Teresa's orphanage aged one.

Declared love is 'for losers' and describes men as 'nasty little creatures' though she secretly fancies Calum Best.

Recently dropped four dress sizes and she says she's 'crazy, sexy, cool'. Says she will release her 'inner bitch' if she is ignored.

"I'm Catholic and not Muslim or Hindu, I go out and drink and smoke and party hard," she said.

"People seem confused about my identity - I'm not confused. It would be nice to explain to everyone, once and for all, what I'm about."

She recently dropped four dress sizes and her party trick is an impression of The Cheeky Girls.

She has abseiled down her local shopping centre for charity.

Her pet hates are "spongers, scroungers and nose-picking".

She likes electro music and hot sauces.

"I'm not someone to be ignored. I will get my point across," she says.

"I have lots of leadership skills. If people carry on ignoring me, I'll release my inner bitch."

She predicts the other housemates may nominate her through jealousy, because she is too straight-talking or has a penchant for extreme cleaning.

She is irritated by selfishness and an unwillingness to help out or take part.

Nicky has worked in her job for nine years, studied floristry for two years and is currently learning Spanish.

Currently bookies favourite.

Hearty Gloucestershire Women's Institute member Lesley Brain, 60, married with two children and two grand children.

Lesley is a member of the Women's Institute and believes that there's a "strong possibility" that she'll win the show.

She has been married twice, first at 16, while her second husband is 23 years her senior.

Lesley ran her own recruitment business for 20 years, has worked as a Cambridge don and set up a marriage agency for successful divorced people.

She and her husband recently returned from a six-year spell in Portugal, where she tried her hand at stand-up comedy.

Lesley enjoys dinner parties and country house weekends.

She has a personal trainer and a cook, admitting: "I don't do anything domestic".

Lesley devours Victorian literature, especially Dickens, and hates music - calling it "distracting".

She dislikes "negative under-achievers, arrogance, people without ambition and people who don't try."

She admits: "I do have terrible temper tantrums. If I don't like something and I don't want to do it, the bottom lip starts wobbling, faux crying.

"The British public will either love me or hate me - either way they'll want to keep me in. I think there's a strong possibility that I'll win.

"I like to think that I'm intelligent, eccentric, perhaps a little unpredictable."

London-based sexual health worker, Carole Vincent, 53, single, unemployed and looking for excitement.

She will be hoping for more luck on the reality show than she had as a politician.

Carole was a candidate for former Celebrity Big Brother George Galloway's Respect party.

The unemployed sexual health counsellor polled just 471 votes in last year's local government elections as a candidate in the Markhouse Ward in Waltham Forest.

A veteran protester of more than 20 years the former foster mother would like to meet Nelson Mandela.

She is staunchly anti-war and was driven to join Respect after Tony Blair sent troops to Iraq. She joined the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camps in the 80s.

A born and bred Londoner, Carole has spent most of her life actively involved in politics and welfare issues.

She is a fan of Peter Kay and Ricky Gervais, is considering a tattoo for her 54th birthday, and 20 years ago sang in a band called Fancy Footwork.

Carole describes herself as a massive Big Brother fan and hopes her time on the show will bring important issues into the public eye.

She would also like to find love in the house. "I am gonna shake it something rotten and they will be shaking s***less. If people want an argument, here's the f***ing argument!"

She wants to get a tattoo or piercing for her next birthday and hopes to find love in the Big Brother house.

Housemates should look out empty cupboards as she suffers Night Eating Syndrome binging on up to four meals every night while others sleep.

Cambridgeshire cleaner Tracey Barnard, 36, single, wants to be an actress.

This technophobe describes herself as a 'raver', collects plastic bags and has never turned on a computer.

Tracey is a self-styled hippy raver from a small village in Cambridgeshire.

She has collected carrier bags since she was six and has never switched on a computer.

Pink-haired Tracey dreams of becoming an actress, but says of her cleaning job: "I love my Hoover, love my polish."

The Big Brother contestant, who has not worn make-up for 15 years, says she is entering the house "for the 'phat' experience."

In five years she would like to be in a shed with running water and an unblocked toilet.

Party and peace-loving, she says: "I go out havin' it every weekend in a field, get on it, get in the stack and buzz like.

"I like people to be happy - I don't do anger, it's not in my world."

Drunks, mess and laziness make her angry.

Tracey also feels strongly about humans killing the planet and is passionate about keeping the monarchy.

She says: "I'm a raver, man - I'm a cheesy Quaver. I buzz off anything and any one."

She would like to visit Goa because it seems like a 'phat place' to visit but has never stepped on a plane.

Macabre Welsh nanny Laura Williams, 23, single, is obsessed with death.

Wants to be an embalmer to help people look good when they are dead.

Ambition is to own a funeral home and meanwhile sweeps leaves at local cemetery.

Laura's nickname is "Wangers" because she has enormous breasts.

Friends say she reminds them of Little Britain character Vicky Pollard - and also that she looks like Peter Kay.

Although currently a nanny, her dream in life is to own her own funeral parlour and to become an embalmer "because when you're dead you should still look good". She volunteers at a local cemetery clearing leaves.

She never leaves the house without fake tan and says looking good is important to her.

Laura hates smokers and the idea of passive smoking.

She doesn't like alcohol much and can get drunk on just one pint.

She loves Bon Jovi, Roxette and Lionel Richie, and describes herself as "happy, happy, happy", and "friendly, happy, too chatty and nice".

"I talk too fast, I talk too much and I've always got something to say," she says.

Laura thinks she will be one of the top 10 housemates ever.

Single North London receptionist Shabnam Paryani, 22, is 'an enigma' - at least to herself.

Shabnam lives at home with her mother, who she gets on with like a sister.

She describes herself as "full of life, vivacious, nuts, passionate, inimitable and striking".

She'd like to be reincarnated as "another enigma" like Michael Jackson or Johnny Depp.

Shabnam's main ambition is to travel the world and enjoy life.

Her philosophy is "to live each moment to the full, because the moment never comes again."

An energetic chatterbox, make-up mad Shabnam feels she may get nominated for being messy and because her zest for life might grate.

"Housemates that would annoy me would be the ones who don't listen to me," she says, "I should really be listened to because I talk a lot of sense."

Shabnam lasted two days working in McDonald's and once had a job dressing up as Hello Kitty and Mr Men characters in a toy department.

She has never voted because she can't be bothered.

She thinks Big Brother will let her "fascinating personality" shine through.

She says: "You can't act on Big Brother - you have to be yourself. There is no other way to win.

"I am an enigma, I'm striking in my presence. People love to talk to me and are drawn to me."

Big Brother ratings slump as viewers get vulgarity fatigue

As you can see, this year's Big Brother contestants are just as shy and retiring as we've come to expect.

But it seems that viewers are growing tired of the wannabes' predictably 'raunchy' antics - the audience for the programme's first night was down by a fifth on last year.

Although it beat BBC1's The Apprentice, the opening night drew in only 6.2million viewers - 700,000 fewer than tuned in for the first episode in 2006.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Look at me: Former lapdancer Charley is no shrinking violet

In the key demographic of 16 to 34-yearold viewers, which is the most sought after by advertisers, the audience had also dipped by 20 per cent from last year's launch night.

The fall in ratings has led to claims that the Big Brother brand - an advertising goldmine for Channel 4 - has been tainted by the disastrous handling of the race row on this year's celebrity version.

The opening episode on Wednesday was preceded by a statement of rebuke from media watchdog Ofcom over the treatment of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty by her fellow contestants.

The house rules for this series have been updated to warn contestants against bullying.

They also to make clear that offensive remarks on the grounds of race, religion or sexuality are unacceptable.

However, the series seems to be running true to form with a torrent of foul language, drinking, vulgarity and sexual exhibitionism from the all-female group of housemates.

Within hours of entering the house, unemployed former lap dancer Charley Uchea - a cousin of the Manchester United footballer Kieran Richardson - made a desperate ploy for attention by ripping open her shirt for the cameras.

Lurid pictures have emerged of the 21-year-old frolicking topless in a swimming pool at a party hosted by rapper P Diddy.

Back inside, the women demanded more alcohol from producers, before some admitted they had already drunk too much. They then left nothing to the imagination as they talked graphically about their toilet habits.

The conversation left 60-year-old WI member Lesley Brain looking more and more like a fish out of water.

The show's fans have been quick to express their feelings about some of the contestants.

A group called I Hate The Big Brother Twins - referring to Barbie lookalikes Sam and Amanda Marchant - has already been launched on the Internet. The blonde twins, who claimed they dislikedchavs', were greeted by crowds at the house with a tumultuous chorus of boos.

Another group, called Evict Chanelle from the Big Brother House, has also started on the web. Its aim is to encourage viewers to vote off the 19-year old Victoria Beckham wannabe first.

But apart the die-hard fans, few seem to be mustering any great enthusiasm for the programme.

Many have taken the lower than expected viewing figures as a sign that the bubble could be about to burst on the controversial show. John Beyer, director of pressure group Mediawatch UK, said: 'I very much hope that the brand name is damaged by the justified furore which surrounded Celebrity Big Brother.

'It shows people are voting with their feet and I welcome that.

'It is time that Channel 4 put on programmes that edify the viewer - rather than drag them down to the pit where the contestants are living.' Despite the ratings, Channel 4 has hailed the opening night as a success, claiming Big Brother was up against stiff competition in the form of ITV's Soap Awards.

A spokesman also said that the show had peaked at about 8million viewers.

But the channel is still reeling after Ofcom last week found it guilty of 'serious editorial misjudgment'. The watchdog said the network broke broadcasting laws on three occasions by airing racist insults made towards actress Shilpa Shetty.

The station was also accused of trying to cover up the worst of the bullying, after investigators uncovered unseen footage of housemates alluding to racial insults in a game of limericks.

The incidents prompted more than 50,000 complaints and claims that Channel 4 had 'milked' the controversy - and tried to cover up the worst instances of racism.

The broadcaster is also facing an outcry caused by its decision to screen a documentary featuring a 'distressing and sensationalist' photograph of Princess Diana dying in 1997.
