But actress Lindsay Lohan looked a world away from any hard work as she continued enjoying a romantic break with her girlfriend, DJ Samantha Ronson.

The loved-up couple held hands and splashed about in the waves while on a romantic vacation together in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Lohan, 22, has been dating 30-year-old Sam - sister of music producer Mark Ronson - for several months and rumours are circulating that the pair are engaged.

At one point on their holiday, the couple tried to get hotel staff to use a large beach towel so photographers could not see them.

But they look far from camera shy in these pictures.
