Christina Aguilera gets cosy

Luffy | Monday, June 02, 2008 | 0 comments
If Christina Aguilera's husband is the jealous type, he did a good job of hiding it at a party in Sin City last night.

Jordan Bratman was left out in the cold as the pop star received a rather warm embrace from British jewelery designer Stephen Webster in the VIP section of LAX nightclub.

In demand: Christina chatted to her companion before her husband managed to reclaim his spot beside her

The pop star appeared in a series of Hitchcock inspired ads for Webster's company just months ago, and Christina has previously described him as a close friend she has known for many years.

She eventually returned her attention to her music producer husband, and the pair mingled with other guests at the club, which is part owned by Christina.

The couple, who welcomed their first child Max in January, were clearly making the most of a night off parenting duties.

But the couple are already planning to expand their family.

Asked recently if she wanted more children, Christina replied: "Absolutely . I can't tell you when, as I'm not planning things like that. Maybe around the next tour."

Christina's Back to Basics world tour was interrupted in August due to an unspecified illness.

Her pregnancy was later announced by socialite Paris Hilton to a nightclub crowd, before Aguilera herself confirmed the news.

Nicole Richie's figure a boost

Nicole Richie looked just swell as she showed off her post-baby figure at the launch of her fiance's new clothing range.

Motherhood has clearly given the 26-year-old's formerly skinny figure a boost - she looked radiant in a tight sliver dress at the launch party for DCMA Collective in Los Angeles on Friday night.

Blooming: The Simple Life star looks healthy and happy at her fiance's clothing launch

The Simple Life star was supporting fiance Joel Madden, 29, who has just launched his first clothing line with his twin brother Benji.

And keeping it all in the family, Good Charlotte star Benji, brought along his new girlfriend - Paris Hilton, Nicole's best friend since childhood and her Simple Life co-star.

Nicole, who wore an "H" pendant around her neck, gave birth to Harlow Winter Kate Madden on January 11 but already looks toned enough to wear the most unforgiving material.

During recent years she has been through several figure transformations - from slender but curvy in the early series of The Simple Life to being painfully thin before her pregnancy.

She now appears to be in her element with her curvy but petite figure.

But, like Christina Aguilera, who gave birth on the same day as Nicole, her cleavage has been given a welcome boost by motherhood.

While Nicole glammed it up and showed off her new fuller figure at the launch party, best friend Paris wore more casual clothes. The heiress showed up in an outfit from the very range that was being previewed - wearing a DCMA Collective Drip Drop t-shirt and Eighty-8 hoody.

Nicky Hilton, Christina Milian and Ja Rule also walked the red carpet at the event.

DCMA Collective is a collaboration between Good Charlotte brothers Joel and Benji Madden, their older brothers Josh and friend Tal Cooperman.

Still, she's keen to get back to work and has revealed she is already inspired to write a new album.

Luffy | Thursday, December 20, 2007 | 0 comments
Singer Christina Aguilera has opted to avoid the pain of a natural child birth an scheduled a Caesarean section for early January, it has been claimed.

The singer - who is expecting her first child with her music executive husband Jordan Bratman - has allegedly decided to go for the operation like many celebrities before her because she is too posh to push.

A source close to the star told The New York Post: "Christina has a C-section scheduled for January 10 but she might need to push the date of the delivery up."

I'm pregnant!: 'Dirty' Christina finally comes clean about the worst kept secret in showbiz

Luffy | Sunday, November 04, 2007 | 0 comments
Christina Aguilera has finally confirmed what the rest of the world already knew - she's pregnant.

Up to now, the singer, 26, has been keeping mum about her growing bump.

Speaking at her Beverly Hills home in her pyjamas with her husband Jordan Bratman and her dogs, the chart-topper said she had only one New Year's resolution for 2008.

"That'll be about the time I enter into mommyhood, so" she whispered, "I'm hoping to have started a beautiful family with my husband!"

Bombshell: Christina Aguilera's news did not come as a surprise

The Beautiful singer, who lives in the mansion sold to her by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, told Glamour magazine that music executive Bratman, 30, was ecstatic.

"Oh, he's thrilled!, he's just great", she said.

"He's so supportive and amazing through everything. He came with me on the last leg of the tour and he was my support system...I gush. I'm a lucky girl."

The Dirrty star said she wanted to be a working mother.

She told the magazine: "I want to get it right, to balance that well with my career."

The 5ft 2in singer added: "When you get married and have a team mate in life, you don't have time for the people around you that are just going to weigh you down.

"I'm all about peace and keeping people that are honest and loving in my life."

In the interview, Aguilera, who began performing in the Mickey Mouse club with Britney Spears, reflected on why she had not gone down the self-destructive route of some of her contemporaries.

She told Glamour: "When you hit 20 or 21 and you're around drugs and alcohol, everyone has a moment when they like to dabble in it and express themselves.

"It's called being young but there is a boundary. You see all of these horror stories about people that have died of drug overdoses, people that have taken it too far and ruined their lives, and for me, I had so many things that I had yet to accomplish.

"It was just a matter of thinking, I don't want to waste any time, and sticking to the plan."

Spears gave a less than impressive performance at her MTV comeback show after spending the night partying with P Diddy.

Aguilera said: "Everyone has their own ways of choosing what's best for them.

"I have no problem with telling someone, 'Hey, I have to do a show tomorrow - you can relate to this as an artist, I want to do a good job and be on my game'."

She said: "Sometimes I wish I could go out to a party or a club and just be able to be free, but there's a consequence with the temptation.

"You know you'll feel it the next day when you wake up. There are too many things I have to accomplish." Aguilera said she had no regrets about her controversial raunchy Dirrty video, in which she stripped down to just a pair of tiny hotpants.

"I definitely stirred the pot a bit but I had fun" she said. "If it's under the mark of respectability then it's prudish, if it's over the mark, it's slutty.

"That's really unfair, so I'm happy I've been able to express myself and be on both sides. People have loved it, hated it, been undecided, and been empowered by it."

On wearing chaps with only a pair of pants underneath on CD:UK, she said: "I was 21 and possibly when I'm 60, if I can still fit into them... at the end of the day, I can say I had a frickin' blast...a f ing blast!"

Aguilera married Bratman in 2005 after they met in 2002 when the music executive worked for her management company.

:: The full interview appears in the next issue of Glamour, out on Thursday.

Aquilera wants to be a singing mother

Luffy | Wednesday, July 19, 2006 | 0 comments

Christina Aguilera is desperate to start a family
with husband Jordan Bratman and vows to carry on
singing when she's a mother.

The star is determined to follow in the footsteps
of pop rival Britney Spears and have loads of kids,
but she can't imagine ever sacrificing her music
career: She says, "We'd absolutely like to have kids
on day. We're both family people.

Jordan's from a Jewish family, so taking care of each
other is a big deal.I Like that. But for now we're
just enjoying ourselves. And music so important n
my life. I think even with kids I'd write and record
songs.

Touring may be a bigger problem, though- we'll just
have to wait and see, "I'm sure I'd be able to
combine family life with my career."
