Madonna shows that she’s losing none of her sex appeal with age in a stunning ad for Louis Vuitton.

The 50-year-old singer has been pictured sporting unsightly bulging veins - a result of her rigorous exercise regime - in recent months.

But there are no prominent veins in sight as she poses seductively on a chair while holding a leg up - wearing fishnet tights, a tailored jacket and stilettos in the sexy shoot.

The newly-divorced star is said to have commanded a £6.5 million fee for the campaign.

Photographer Steven Meisel, who shot Madonna's controversial 1992 book Sex, worked with her on the promotion.

Yesterday Madonna returned to Argentina twelve years after playing the country’s former first lady Eva Peron.


She arrived in Buenos Aires for the Latin America leg of her world tour with her three children and a huge entourage including 200 dancers, technicians and crew members.

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has criticized Madonna for the way she adopted a 13 month old child from Malawi, calling it "illegal".

The Tomb Raider actress, who has herself adopted babies from Cambodia and Ethiopia of David Banda from Malawi was wrong.

She said that the singer should not have paid a visit to an impoverished African country last year with the sole intention of picking up David Banda.

Madonna has been criticised by an animal rights group for wearing what it said was a real chinchilla fur coat as she left a London restaurant.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) accused the singer of ignoring cruelty of animals.

A spokesman for Madonna - who is set to design a range of clothing for high street chain H&M - said he was unable to comment.

Poorva Joshipura, director of Peta Europe, said: "We encourage anyone who wears fur to watch videos of these animals being electrocuted, caught in traps and skinned alive.

"Thousands of people, including Paris Hilton, have said that the videos changed their minds about wearing fur.

"Chinchillas are shy, intelligent animals who can live for up to 15 years in the wild. Yet on fur farms, these animals are violently killed while fully conscious."

The clothing line - including wardrobe staples and accessories - will be launched in March 2007.
