Gary and Danielle have visited Miami

Most of us are lucky if we can afford to jet off on one holiday each year.

But Gary Lineker and his model girlfriend Danielle Bux are currently on a beach in Barbados enjoying their sixth break overseas since their whirlwind romance began 10 months ago.

The Match of the Day host, 47, and his 29-year-old lover are midway through their third holiday in Barbados this year.

The couple are vacationing with their five children - Gary has four sons, George, 16; Harry, 14; Tobias, 13; and Angus, 12; while Danielle has a six-year-old daughter, Ella.

Gary - who is 19 years older than his girlfriend - owns a beachside villa on the island.

Former air hostess Danielle is Gary's first serious relationship since he divorced his wife Michelle in 2006 after 20 years of marriage.

As well as the three Barbados trips, Gary and Danielle have also visited Miami, Rome and Vienna since they met on a blind date last September.

As you shiver into the weekend, facing travel chaos and festive frenzy, spare a thought for Gary Lineker.

Having just signed a new deal with the BBC for about £10million, he's been strolling in the Florida sunshine with a stunning model nearly half his age on his arm.

The 47-year-old Match of the Day presenter and his new girlfriend, model Danielle Bux,were enjoying a romantic break before he returns to Britain for Christmas.

The couple checked into a five star beachfront hotel where rooms cost £1,200 per night before taking a stroll allong the sands – Miss Bux in a belted bikini of the type worn by Ursula Andress in Dr No in 1962.

Then, with temperatures hovering around 80f (27c) they enjoyed a dip in the sea.

"They were laughing and joking as they splashed about in the waves," said an onlooker. "Danielle slipped her arm around Gary as they walked along the beach.

"They looked very happy together."

Miss Bux, a Welsh-born former air hostess, is believed to be Lineker's first serious relationship since he split up from his wife Michelle last year.

The 29-year-old beauty was with the former footballer on a break in Vienna earlier this year.

She has a five-year-old daughter from her relationship with former Coventry City player Adam Willis and has also dated Scotland rugby star Simon Danielli.

Friends of Lineker have claimed the model is "the real deal" for him.

He recently signed a £2million-a-year deal with the BBC, being lined up as the main face of its 2012 Olympics coverage.
