Spice spat as Geri claims Headlines for herself

When Geri Halliwell fell out with her fellow Spice Girls it resulted in the group disbanding. Now, with just months to go until their reunion tour, there has been the first difference of opinion.

After a meeting at Geri's North London home, I hear Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown are put out that Geri has been claiming the group's new single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) was largely down to her.

'Geri is making it clear to all who listen that she wrote it with Emma Bunton and the others added their lyrics much later,' says a source.

Toned Geri makes a splash in St Tropez

Geri Halliwell showed of her stunning figure as she took to the water in the South of France.

The 34-year-old was having the time of her life as she whizzed about on a jet ski while enjoying a sun-soaked break in St Tropez

Halliwell has been pulling out all of the stops to get back into shape for the Spice Girls comeback tour which was announced earlier this year.

Halliwell hasn't toured since she quit the band in 1998 and is determined to be physically and mentally prepared for the 14-date reunion shows which kick off in December.

In a recent interview Halliwell, who gave birth to daughter Bluebell last year, revealed that she is nervous about taking to the stage again.

But Halliwell is excited about the eagerly anticipated reunion.

"I feel very optimistic and positive, the point of this is to be a very fun experience and obviously the feedback that we have had is amazing and I think that the support and the encouragement from the world is almost like helping us to make this happen."

Rehearsals for the concerts are expected to begin as soon as pregnant Emma Bunton has her baby later this summer.

Demand for tickets has been staggering and the girls recently new dates in Canada, the United States and China.

Bluebell's big day gets a sprinkle of Spice

The Spice Girls have reunited for a one-off event - the christening of Geri Halliwell's daughter Bluebell.

Four of the band's former line-up made it including the former Posh Spice Victoria Beckham who is thought to have been made a godmother for helping Miss Halliwell, 34, through her pregnancy.

Baby Spice Emma Bunton, who is expecting her first child, and Melanie Chisholm - the former Sporty Spice - were also among the 100 guests.

The group's fifth member, Scary Spice Melanie Brown, who lives with her family in the U.S., was the sole absentee.

Miss Halliwell - Ginger Spice - showed off Bluebell to wellwishers, posing with the flowers her 11-monthold daughter is named after.

Black limousines ferried VIP guests from St Michael's church in Highgate, North London, to an after-service party at Miss Halliwell's nearby home.

Lady Isabella Hervey, who attended the ceremony along with Little Britain star David Walliams, said: "It was a lovely service. Geri looked stunning. It was good to see so many of the Spice Girls back together and getting on so well."

There was no sign of Bluebell's father, Sacha Gervasi. Miss Halliwell became pregnant after a brief relationship with the 40-year-old scriptwriter in Los Angeles and relations between the two are said to be fraught.

row with friend Robbie Williams.

left the hollywood Scriptwriter's name off the birth

call a truce on her feud after the pair's mutual showbiz
frend, Robbie Williams, laid bare a few home truths.

A source revealed, "Robbie asked Geri to change her mind,
but she wasn't having any of it.
they ended up having a big row.

In recent days she has started to think of her little
girl's long term future and decided to give Sacha a fair
chance." The new parents are now said to be spending hours
on the phone working out what is best for their daughter.
